I’m super scared, but wish me luck! It’s overnights at an addiction treatment center. I’m excited, and it’s a field I’ve always wanted to work in. It should be a good fit while I finish up my bachelor’s degree. I haven’t worked 3rd shift in years, and I’m not a spring chick anymore so acclimating is going to be tough for the first week.

Good luck with it. Its always the first few days or weeks that are the challenge with a new job. Orientating yourself around the new place and all. But sounds promising! And remember its okay to not know how to do everything when your starting out. Thats what always gets me. Feeling like an idiot because i dont give myself enough time to learn the ropes.

Thank you everyone. My first night was awesome! I feel like I actually made a difference and I haven’t felt that from a job in a long time. It’s stressful and there’s a ton of paperwork I have to learn, but I’m ready to take it head on.
