In my area Christmas sauna is one and then visiting graveyards, graveyards are full of candles.

we had the turning on of the Christmas lights and a nativity with real donkey which i got to pet and take a picture with,
later there is more things on like carol singing and brass bands etc, i can keep you up to date if you want.
that would be very peaceful 
… and a kind of cool thing to do.
