Sometimes as a writer

If you write fiction and poetry like I do,

I put a lot of my own personal experiences into it a story,
but it doesn’t have to be exact, it doesn’t have to be how it ‘really’ happened,

either because I’m spinning my own tale, want to make it more interesting,
or creating what I wanted to see happen, almost like correcting my life.

It becomes difficult after time to think of what your real life is and where the
fiction is, like another temptation with reality. Like I need another one.

That’s what I like about writing fiction. You can embellish here and there. Your writing needs to have good verisimilitude, though. That’s very important.
