I’m kinda feeling scared today. Hopefully I can get a ride to Wal-Mart later to get out of the building for a little while.

I wanna say it was an isolated incident. I don’t know the trigger man, but apparently he lived here too.

I’m unsure if I feel safe here to be honest. The air just feels heavy here today.

Thank you all! Good news, I just got off the phone with my mom and she needs to go to Wal-Mart too. She has to help my sister out who is disabled first then we’ll go.

Yeah, I’ve never heard of a shooting in my building either. We’ve had a lot of murders this summer in my city. You stay safe.

I met another neighbor today.

He wanted to go get beers after a 15 minute conversation.

I was actually tempted. It was hot & cool beers feel good.

I haven’t drank in 4.5 years. Drinking would be a huge mistake

When I was a kid the apartments I lived in had a couple lethal stabbings, but the complex kept it on the DL and it never made the news and most people didn’t know that lived there, it def makes you feel unsettled, feel better and stay safe.

Wow. Sorry to hear you had to experience that.

I live is a sleepy little town where there almost never are shootings. But firearms are illegal for civilians here, except if you take a hunters course, then you can get a rifle(unless you got a criminal record). And from there you can apply to get a handgun. But it’s very hard to get firearms here. It’s all regulated, and black market for firearms is almost non existent. I must say I’m happy it is like that. I’m very sure it attributes to less violence and deaths.

@Mr_Hope Thank you for kind words, sir. I’m happy your town has good gun control and is safe. In my neck of the woods gun control is frowned upon, and just about any idiot can buy and conceal a gun.
