We had a major weather event at the same time I had to drive my wife and a co-worker to the airport. What should have taken 1.5 hours took 6 and I nearly got killed at least once by a semi that lost control on an icy road.

Yah, it takes a bit longer when the speed limit is 110 kph but no one can go above 35 kph without losing control on the ice and ditching their vehicle.
