Researchers of one study found that intentionally attempting to induce lucid dreaming is associated with depression, dissociation, obsessive compulsive symptoms, and symptoms that are characteristic of schizophrenia.

I have lucid dreams frequently.
Cannot help it but sometimes I enjoy them.

Joker:
is likely symptoms
Symptoms of what?
If you have issues with your sleep you should talk to your doc and get referred to a sleep specialist.
You could have a neurological disorder.
Better to get it checked out.

This is what has happened to me
I have been indulging in them
But it seems the balance is tipping and not in my favour

My dreams and awake time are influencing each other and it’s starting to be filled with perception issues and visions
I would have called them delusions but I am both buying into them, sceptical and knowing that it could be what it is

They’re too instructive to just ignore and very intense

I also put great weight on my dreams. I think it’s something typical of sz.
I think it’s just important to realize that your dreams aren’t always true, like voices aren’t always true. It’s the subconscious.

This doesn’t sound healthy!
Why not sleep like a normal person?

It started off beneficial but now it’s getting out of control and I do not know how to control or stop doing it

They consistently prove to me that they have meaning in the real world
Maybe because my world is so small and predictable?

I also view that voices and dreams have meaning, but it doesn’t mean they are always right.
Just don’t act too much on them. Like if you have a dream you have to move to Canada, I wouldn’t.
He already takes clozapine…

My mother is a very spiritual person. She believes all that about dreams.
I sometimes look up dream interpretations online but I only do it for fun. I don’t believe in it.

Hmm, ok.
I just hope he’s not doing anything to worsen sz.

I just hope he doesn’t start believing he’s a prophet or something.
That usually doesn’t end well.

For some time, I’ve had lucid, astral projection, or cloning center nightmares/dreams. It’s probably not real. It felt real while asleep though. I either wake up or feel like I entered another reality.
I haven’t had it in weeks though. I count my blessings.
