He was the murderer. It was a delusion he was a cop. He was looking for himself. The one who burned down the house. His name was an anagram for the killer’s name.

Shutter Island was a big trigger for me - I was not feeling so great when I watched it, man what a movie - paranoia galore!
I read the book before I saw the movie. It triggered me too. I started having these strange thoughts about if my life was real or not.
