Should I switch from Abilify to vraylar

I’m seriously considering it. Might just be a trade-off of one set of side effects for another

How is vraylar better?

Doesn’t raise prolactin levels. Would reverse my partial ED and potentially help with weight gain for a bit.

Did you get a blood test?

No I’m getting it this coming week

Don’t make assumptions… I did them last week. It turned out that I’m healthy and fine.

Ok. I will wait for proof

Good luck if you try it and I hope you have a better experience than I did. Vraylar made me crazy. My anxiety was off the charts and voices were bad. It was so incredibly activating too.

Abilify reduces prolactin, its even used as addon with other APs to reduce prolactin. Sorry for the bad news

You need a blood test. And an urologist. Maybe your prolactin levels are normal, T normal but free T low

That can ■■■■ u up aswell

Abilify, Vraylar, Rexulti all have the same mechanism of action, partial agonism
