Now, I understand why my parents were “cruel”. I’ve been experiencing headaches like they used to get without knowing it. Dad would say he never got headaches but you could know by the strained look on his face that he was suffering. And Mom just wanted to hide in the master bedroom. I am lucky I don’t have many responsibilities and can treat my head pain.
