Self-Reported Suicidal Ideation as a Predictor of Suicidal Behavior Among Outpatients With Diagnoses of Psychotic Disorders

I hope we can get better at predicting and preventing suicide attempts as well as completed suicides. It’s weird with psychotic disorders, because splitting from reality makes it hard for those based in reality to always know exactly how an ill person doing, esp when they cannot monitor that person very closely. There are so many dimensions to the human mind, and as such, there are limitations in trying to administer treating which can only be described in a two dimensions, perhaps through some sort of dialogue between clinicians.
