Schizophrenia Research Donation

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the best place to donate to for schizophrenia research? I’m looking online and all I can find is the One Mind Institute and the Schizophrenia International Research Society:

https://www.imhro.org/get-involved/donate-schizophrenia-research-help-people-schizophrenia

https://schizophreniaresearchsociety.org/about-us/donate/

There are a few others dotted about but those seem to be the main two. Does anyone know the ‘best’ organisation to donate to - where the donation is more likely to be used towards groundbreaking research in looking for a cure for schizophrenia?

Thanks,
Raffa

There’s also the Broad Institute (jointly supported by MIT and Harvard). They do basic research in schizophrenia.

They are very advanced, compared to other research institutions. I also have high hopes for them.

Thanks for the replies everyone - it’s much appreciated. Oh and honestly I’m just going to give away what I can. I plan on donating 5% of my monthly wage, so nothing massive by any means but it’s something I’ll be able to sustainably manage on a regular basis.

The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation is also a good group - used to be NARSAD:
