Schizophrenia Identification Using Multi-View Graph Measures of Functional Brain Networks (93% accuracy)

Wasn’t @Mountainman or someone on here a part of this study?

It would be cool if, in the immediate future, a simple brain scan could be done to differentiate between schizophrenia and other disorders that present similarly. I suppose they would need to do this study with patients of various disorders before that’s possible though, instead of just sz and healthy controls.

It does seem like a lot of groups are working on this. A couple years ago there was one that did bipolar and schizophrenia with good results. Although I don’t know what method they used. And I have yet to see one come up on clinicaltrials.gov for testing.

Like, differentiating between the two? Wow that’s super awesome!

I can’t find what I was thinking of but I did find this.

yes with the university, but it was a study to see how a person with Schizophrenia reacted to facial expressions (pictures) of peoples faces, while in a MRI at the same time, you had to decide if they were angry, happy etc. emotions on the face
