I once made buffalo chicken chili; it called for a can of sweet corn, among other things. It was so good, wish I still had the recipe.

You’ve been there for a while now. They aren’t pressuring you to leave or anything are they?
I liked living on my own but after my building changed ownership it just went down the tubes. Hard to find decent housing at an affordable price with competent managers or owners.

The VA in my town still doesn’t have a psychologist. I haven’t been to therapy in a while. My last one got promoted into a different job. I thought they just forgot about me but I talked to my shrink this morning and asked about it.
He said they still don’t have one. It’s been a while now. Like 9 months or a year or so.
The last one I saw outside the VA was a quack.

Yeah, been living here for over a year now. Stuff kept happening, though. I got fired from a different teaching job last fall, which ■■■■■■ me hard, then covid hit and took away my main source of income.
They’re not pressuring me to move out, though. They say they like having me around, but still I feel terrible about being here so long.

I finished Doctor Sleep a little while ago. It’s been a pretty long time since I’ve read the book, but I remember the ending being very different in the book.
It was a really good flick though!
Might be triggering to those who have auditory and visual hallucinations though. There’s a lot of psychic heebie jeebies in it.

Well, I keep asking my mom stuff. She said i posted something weird but not bad like I posted we lived in a computer simulation. I will never know. I might have been the first one to truly believe and figure it out. Her memory is bad and it was 10 years ago.
I guess the aliens or simulators didn’t want peoole to know we lived in the matrix.
That’s the best I can guess.
It just seems weird.

I can’t stand people on Facebook who reject friend requests but have a follow option.
It’s like would I want to follow your pretentious ass if you reject my friend request?

Just a little while back I sent friend requests to some of the people I knew when i was in med school, but not a single one of them accepted. Stuck up ■■■■■■■■ though I acknowledge I was quite crazy when i was there. I was cycling badly, manic af most of the time, then had my first psychotic break that winter/spring. When I get manic I turn into a loud, obnoxious ass. Still, back in those days I thought these people were my friends. Kind of a slap in the face.

Yeah, people are such asssholes on Facebook. I’m probably going to delete mine.
I’m doing okay though. If I ever meet any of these people in real life they just better not act like they’re my friend.

I still will keep my fb; I’m not on there often, but I do like to see posts from people I know or once knew, plus it’s where I get a lot of my news about the bands I like.
