I did a gene test a couple of months back.
Now I’m going through the results.
I’m predisposed for getting diabetes, meaning I have a high risk developing it. So I don’t eat a lot of sugars and I have to keep my diet in check. This I already knew so I’m not surprised.
Now I’m trying to go through a couple of genes that can cause anxiety. I have anxiety and panic attacks. Hopefully it’s something supplements can fix.
I already ordered SAMe, L-Methionine and methyl folate.
Hopefully the supplements will do something positive and aid me. It’s a trial and error kinda thing…

Toward the end of her life, my Tubby came to hate everyone except me. She adored her papa, but she hissed at everyone else. Very much a papa’s girl. She passed in July 2018 .
Idk if you remember I briefly had a cat I named Waylon, after my favorite musician, Waylon Reavis, when I lived in a friend’s basement. Waylon was a little ■■■■ lol, though I still tried to find an affordable place that would allow a cat. He would find a mouse, pick it up alive and bring the damn thing onto my bed to play with it. While I was on the bed, mind you.
Most landlords I see listing apartments do not allow pets. It’s like it was decades ago, as far as being able to have pets in a rental.
I remember when you had Waylon and were living in that basement! He was sort a mixed/white cat I think?
Yeah I count my Blessings I can have Jimmy. He’s like my best friend. I think most HUD/Section 8 programs are cool with pets as long as you stay up to date with vaccinations, and don’t have too many.
Yeah that was a dark time in my life. At one point I was giving very serious thought to hanging myself. I mean, I hadn’t bought any rope or made an actual plan or anything, but that’s the direction I was heading in. When I was doing the shitty weed trimming job, things seemed awfully bleak.
I’m gonna take my mom to Bob Evans for breakfast tomorrow for her redeemable Mother’s Day meal. I’m looking forward to it myself because I love breakfast food.
Have an appointment with my psychiatrist on Friday. It will be the last one ever cos they are moving me to a treatment team in a different area. She is retiring anyway this year. I shall miss her.
