Hey yāall, I hope youāre all hanging in there today. My day was okay, nothing too bad. Tomorrow I expect to be a very rough day at work, though.
I just need to focus on getting through each shift leading up to having the weekend off, have another concert Saturday. Itās at an outdoor venue about a 2 1/2 hour drive from me. Long distance, but it will be worth it. Itās a drive Iāve made many times, used to live there.
Edit: Evanescence is headlining. If youāre not familiar with them, do yourself a favor and check this out. Amy Lee has one hell of a singing voice.

Hello Kiddos! 
I had some beef stroganoff Hamburger Helper for dinner earlier tonight.
Gave Jimmy Boyās litter a good scoop and poured in a little fresh litter to help with the odors.
Just got through watching āHorrorās Greatestā on Shudder. The season finale was about Stephen King adaptations and they made zero mention of some King cult classics like āCatās Eye.ā Idk. I feel a little letdown. And they also didnāt mention how the producer and director Dino De Laurentiis and King had a great working relationship in the 80s for crying out loud.

@Truemist8 Thatās a really nice colored bag! I have one in mind right now, too. Itās just plain brown, but itās pretty, I think. I just need it to go on sale. The last bag I bought was pricey, but I waited and waited, and it went half off. I also snagged a coupon for an extra $25 off that, so I was set and got it for less than half price! I have a lot of purses, I guess. My favorite is heart-shaped. It doesnāt fit my phone, though.

My boyfriend got me a fake leather one from Temu with a skull on it.
Love it but zipper broke.

I have another one with dog on it that I bought second hand.

The woman spend half a million dollars on a hand bag or so and itās evil handbags where crocodile were tortured and suffered and had horrible living conditions.
I think thatās ugly.
For them to think thatās cool and powerful is nasty and ugly not classy at all.just cruel and ugly.
All the real housewives have those evil hand bag collections thinking that makes them cool.

Yeah man! It was a good and filling meal. 
Oh Iām feeling pretty good tonight. My original plans were to stay home and get loaded on caffeine but I got an itching to go to the thrift shop and grocery store. At the store I bought some cottage cheese and a 12 pack of root beer, and at the thrift shop I found a really nice Columbia vest.

I have a snake designed wallet, but itās cow leather thatās just made to look that way. I canāt imagine spending that much on a handbag.

Right on man! Yeah, I havenāt had cottage cheese in ages but I got the idea to buy some because I have a friend who buys and eats it a lot because he doesnāt cook much.
Raisin Bran is good stuff. Iād give you some of my milk if I could.

Do any of you guys have a good shoe recommendation for a male who will have to walk in rain, snow, etc?
I bought hubby three pairs of shoes last year- Salomon, Timberland, and I donāt remember. One pair is already worn down, so I thought Iād replace it. Preferably with a hiking boot-type, and bonus points if it is weather-proof. Help!

Iāve found that all-weather boots made within the last five years donāt last or donāt perform as well as the ones I have found at thrift stores. I donāt know why because weather tech should be getting better not worse!

A few brands that I think of off the top of my head when it comes to menās waterproof boots are Skechers, Columbia, and Timberland.
If you go to Zappos dot com you can type in āmens waterproof bootsā and it will bring up quite a bit of results.

Hey @Happy_H how are you doing? I wish I could help with a recommendation, but I tend to go cheap with that stuff. My last pair of work boots sucked, but I took a job that required steel toe boots and I was broke.

Hey freak! Iām alright. Feeling good after my surgery and down 22 lbs so far (itās been a month). Getting a new puppy in October. Dealing with anhedonia pretty bad, but Iām trying really hard to stay upbeat. Thatās about it for me. How about you?

Oh thatās great about the weight loss; did you have a gastric bypass?
Iām doing okay, coping with work the best I can and trying to have some fun when I can, like going to concerts. I applied for yet another lab job this morning, though Iām not getting my hopes up.
