Are you still on Ozempic?

I guess. I had to skip it when I did Colonoscopy and I havent taken it yet again, so I’m not sure. I have not yet decided if I’m, just going to drop it.

The problem with the Ozempic, is that I lost a bunch of weight, got off the stuff because I couldn’t afford to pay for the shots then BAM I gained it all back plus 15 more too. So be careful with that stuff @Bowens

Good morning my peeps!!!
Nothing planned for the day, already dressed, dishes done and bed made all before 4 am. At six I can eat some breakfast. Tomorrow I get a new collection of books to read for the month.
Nothing else is going on today. Might crochet and work on my writing as well.
Here’s a thought, I could read and get out my covid coloring books.
However you decide to spend your day hope it’s FABULOUS!!!

Good morning

The neighbor said he likes hanging out with me and I don’t mind the conversation but he’s an alcoholic and he’s a bit rowdy. My mom being an alcoholic makes me not wanting to hang with him. I dunno maybe I’m reading into it to much.

You’re surrounded by alcoholics!

I hope that’s not an issue for you.

I quit smoking while living together with a smoker. Not easy.

No alcohol was never a problem for me.

I did have a couple of drinks on a holiday and couldn’t get drunk guess it’s the meds. Not really my thing.

@anon10627598 You are prescribed Ozempic? A bariatric doctor suggested that I be prescribed Ozempic or go under the knife and have bariatric surgery done. The 3rd choice my bariatric surgeon offered was to lose weight naturally by exercising & eating healthy. I chose the 3rd option.

May I ask what being prescribed Ozempic entails? Is taking Ozempic a daily routine? Reading from your statements, it sounds as if Ozempic has been successful in you losing weight. Is this true?

I was on Ozempic while I was covered under Medicaid. It’s a weekly shot that adjusts your blood sugar and suppresses your appetite. When it’s stopped the hunger returns fast and more often than befpre, the weight gain went back like the domino effect in three weeks I was back to the weight I started and by six weeks after the shots stopped I gained an additional 15 pounds. Yes I already had gastric bypass surgery 23 years ago.

I’m sorry you’re feeling down. I hope you do take care of yourself. You deserve it!

I just met with a diabetic nutritionist and I thought he was very knowledgeable. I’m going to be seeing him weekly in March. I hope you have as good an experience as I’m having

Planning to jump rope some more today at some point.

Need to go to the post office when they open to drop off a letter to my friend back in Oregon :slightly_smiling_face:

Bought a pack of bakery donuts from Walmart yesterday…… totally regret it. Ugh. I’m supposed to be tying to lose weight >_<
