Well, we successfully revived the caption contest. Should we do more or give it a bit of a break? Finding the gifs and and making the large polls for the captions is a bit of work, so I want to know if they are enjoyed enough to make it worth the time of doing another soon.

Maybe you do not need a poll. Just create a post and ask persons to reply with captions. Captions with most likes wins.
Yeah, I’ve thought of that before. It was suggested by @everhopeful years ago I believe. The problem I see with that, is that the captions first submitted in the thread get the most views and thereby have an advantage to getting the most likes. When you submit them all at once in a poll, they have an equal chance. I would rather do the work of the poll than have it be unfair.
Thank you for your thoughts, though, its a thoughtful suggestion.
