I took 100 Tylenol almost two weeks ago. At first, I was puking and puking, then my stomach hurt so bad I almost went to ER. I was so weak I couldn’t walk across a room. And now, I’m still blacking out and getting periods of confusion. Am I recovering, or should I be worried? I’ve overdosed on other pills but not on Tylenol, so maybe it just hit me really hard, idk.
I think you should at least talk to a doctor. Tylenol is hard on your liver I believe.
Very sorry you attempted suicide. How are you feeling emotionally now?
Are you telling me that you didn’t go to the ER after overdosing on Tylenol?!?!
You have to go to the Hospital ASAP!
Your liver is probably damaged!!
Yes, please go to the hospital.
Please go to hospital. Liver damage is not something to take lightly. There is no “wait and see” here. Especially now that you’ve let it go on for 2 weeks!
I hope you went to the E R. you need medicine for overdosing…good luck.
You should s a doctor. Better safe than sorry. Blacking out is pretty serious, I wouldn’t take a chance with my health, I would see a doctor at an ER.
You might pass out and never wake up, who knows?
I don’t know much about Tylenol but I ran into this.
Tylenol can destroy your liver (Motrin is bad for the kidneys) Please go to an ER. Doesn’t matter how long ago you took them.

I’m feeling sort of emotionally shook up, not so much from the attempt but the way it affected my body and still is. I feel like I need an abdomen ultrasound and to tell my therapist what happened.
I’m sorry to hear that you had a suicide attempt. I too tried to kill myself. I ended up being committed to the state for a year. I really think you need to listen to the people here and go to the emergency room and tell them what happened. If you don’t do that, then, at least call you P Doc and tell him or her what you did. You might need some medication for the physical effects of acetaminophen poisoning. I am rather surprised that you didn’t succeed with that many pills.
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I don’t recommend it.
Thank you for your reply. I’m so happy to hear from you. We have been concerned for you. Sorry you are shook up - it’s understandable. Is there any way that you can get into a hospital now?
At the very minimum, you need blood tests for your liver and kidney function.
They say that tylenol is safer for the kidneys but that is not true in the case of overdose (as well as long term heavy use). Signs of kidney failure include unexplained nausea or vomiting, loss of appetite, fatigue and weakness, changes in urine output, persistent itching and other symptoms… you need not have all of those to have kidney damage.
If you have kidney damage, supportive care like temporary dialysis might help you recover, trust me, you don’t want to wait and see what happens and end up on long term dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant.
Go get help.
