Real bad reaction to a nasal decongestant

My sinuses were flaring up so I got a nasal spray. The last time I had a cold I spoke to the pharmacist and they said a nasal spray would be the go to med (because am on so many oral meds).

Anyway so I sprayed up each nostril and subsequently unleashed the gates of hell.

My heart was racing and my anxiety went thermonuclear. Just just awful.

Luckily my prn is propranolol which is a beta blocker. An hour after taking the prn I have settled again.

Never again am I touching decongestant

I keep having bad reactions to supplements but only mild bad reactions. I think it’s Abilify.

That’s scary stuff.

i cant take decongestant pills or cough medicine but ive been alright with sprays.
