I’m feeling a little grouchy cos it’s that time of the month. Should I give the men a notice or is that tmi? As in “look guys I may come across a little bitchy the next few days”?

Most men recognize when women are grouchy a few days of the month that s woman is PMSing.

My recommendation is to work really hard at thinking before you speak during that time of month.

You can also say you’re just grouchy today so to bear with you.

My partner just knows… He checks the calendar to make sure but he knows sometimes before I do.

I think apologizing if you care and being like, sorry, my hormones ■■■■■■ me up and I’m irritable isn’t a bad thing to say. Like, it’s not TMI in my opinion as long as you don’t get graphic. It’s just basic biology.

It is NOT embarrassing a perfectly normal part of being human! I tell people when I have it, it really doesn’t go unnoticed most times as mum picks up on it

My 20 year old daughter would say bluntly “I am bleeding from my vagina!!”. She holds nothing back lol.

I dont ever get moody or anything with my period, I only got that on certain forms of birth control (I turned into a real monster!!). I do get ravenously hungry right before I get my period though and eat a lot more than normal.

I tell starlet. I say “do not poke at me today because I am menstruating and my hormones are making me easily annoyed.” I figure it is teaching him how to be understanding of women, who really only enter into his life tangentially.

I would say TMI. I don’t think men like being grossed out by women things. Not that it’s gross. I just think, they think it is.
