Solidly middle class upbringing --------- bullied for being different ----------- severe mental illness ------------- social drift ---------- downward mobility ---------- now regarded by some as part of the underclass ------------ by others as can’t be genuinely mentally ill because I had a relatively privileged upbringing.
Was stalked online for several years because of being regarded as ‘not genuinely mentally ill’ = 'no reason why you should be mentally ill '. A traumatic experience.
