Psych doc was an ass

So I went inpatient 2 months ago for a med change and the psych doc had to mention how many times I’ve been inpatient, why did he have to do that? Was he trying to make me ashamed for many hospital visits? Everytime I have gone inpatient I’ve needed to. I think if I was going inpatient many times and had heart disease, would he mention how many times I’ve been inpatient? I’ve dealt with this doctor for 15 years and he’s kinda a ass. Goes to show you even the psych doctors even hold a stigma towards mental illness.

Not all docs are friendly. I’ve had my portion of them.

Things are better with my current pdoc now.

I don’t know.

Reminding you how many times you’ve been to the hospital,

Though not a fun discussion,

Isn’t super rude.

I wasn’t there,

I don’t know the tone,

And I’ve had issues with doctors.

It’s totally possible you’re right.

However,

My very caring and super awesome doctor frequently mentioned how many times I’ve been in the hospital.

I think he was saying “you don’t want to end up there again, so work with me”.

That said,

I’ve had plenty of doctors that have used hospitalizations to shame me.

I got accused by one pdoc at the hospital for using the hospital to socialize, and a nurse at the hospital flat out told me I overdosed on 50,000 mg of Tylenol “for attention”. There’s been my share of arseholes working at the local hospital…on the other hand, there were the two nurses who bought me a little cake last year on my birthday from the cafeteria and sang to me, and the one who told me my drawings were pretty even tho I knew they were crap…so, there’s some good fish in that particular sea and some rotten ones, too…

Yeah, this doc is an ■■■■■■■. Once I was in the psych hospital and i told him my symptoms and he exclaimed “bull sh*t” and all he wants to do is talk about his time in the army. Bye the way this is a VA hospital.

Some Doctors are bigoted.

They have huge egos and can’t tolerate people correcting them.

When I use Science as my weapon it zips their mouths.

For example the dopamine hypothesis if sz is incomplete.

It’s mostly/absolutely to do with over stimulation of the brain/neurons.

Hyper excitation. Crazy action potentials.

And the cure is a simple benzo that calms the cns.

We know a lot about Science (Myself and two others in my head/soul).

Not trying to sound like a jerk,

But, from what you’ve said,

It sounds like you’re trying to get benzos out of your doctor and coming at them with your theories on the science of it all.

That’s two things doctors really, really don’t like.

And that track will do you zero favors.

I’m not saying we’re incapable of understanding the medical aspect of our illness,

But they did go to soooo much school and generally know what they’re talking about.

I agree there are bad doctors.

However,

This post kind of paints a picture and I can see what the problem is.

I (fire) personally take benzos as Prn, and use them when I have anxiety.

Lorazepam blue works well for me.

And I (fire) am a Man Of Science so I do know what I’m talking about.

Nobody can argue Science with me. Whether they have certificates of education from their indoctrinated schools or not, I am always wiser. I think outside of the box.

I understand some people abuse their meds but I never do.

And neuroleptics have more cons than pros.

As a young Man, why do I deserve sexual dysfunction from APs.

I love my Ego.

So much is clear.

You know there’s an old saying:

When you think you’re the smartest person in the room,

You’re always wrong.

(meaning just thinking you’re that smart is flawed)
