I used to doodle a lot as a teen, all over my worksheets in school. I just found my old sketchbook and selected some images from it which I made back then.
I was really into drawing living things with a focus on the human male figure and face. I’ve always found females impossible to draw. I drew disorted/incomplete images because I found it hard to get them perfect. I never took drawing very seriously, though felt I had a bit of talent and was proud of my creations.
Also, what do you think of my drawings?
Male faces and bodies (from imagination and based off the features of real people):
When you distorted/incomplete, I say style and character. I think you would have a defined and recognizable style if you chose to pursue your art. You have the raw talent, and I find your work very expressive.
I liked all of these. Even the woman’s face. Esp I liked the overhead dynamic figures, so much like Burne Hogarth. They look like studies. It’s a sketchbook, so what the hey if they’re unfinished. Could you maybe pick one and make a finished drawing or portrait? I know it’s hard when we have sz. It’s very hard for me to ever complete a song with all the structural components. My music always came out in themes.
