Hmm?.

Actually The Post You Are Referring Too Is Suppose To Hold Wisdom And Charm To Wake Everyone Up. With A Sense Of Sarcasm In Order For No One To Cry In Their Milkshake.

Milkshakes Aren’t Designed For Salt. Unless I Never Had A Milkshake Before And I Don’t Know Some Can Be Made With Salt.

In That Case, What An Odd Name For A Drink.

Which Brings Kelis To Mind.

Truth Be Told, She Is Kinda Cute. . . . . . .

She is attractive, No Doubt. But she’s never done anything that I could believe in. She strikes me as very superficial

Hmm?.

Madonna (OR) Kelis?.

Madonna… …

Every song after 1990.

One of my favorites. Remember, that was the era of hippies and drugs and lots of musicians were doing that “stream of consciousness” and wordy “nonsense lyrics.” Oh well.

Also this:

This one for me.

I think the hook of the song goes completely against whole message of the song. Its still a derogtrary term for a woman, so why would a woman want to empathise with it/sing it?

At the time there was so much commentary on interpreting it, or talking about why it is effective feminism, why it isnt etc. People also thought that the video went extremely counter to the message. There was loads of weird things about it.

Ultimately, if the message of the song is obscured - in what otherwise is meant to be a very easy to understand political message - then you’ve kind of failed as a writer.

I also think its terribly boring musically so there’s another reason

I’ve already said one time mine but it’s ‘Hey there, Delilah’, by The Plain White T’s’

I was working in a bank opening up checking and savings accounts under pressure (essentially speaking)… not something of a fit… but I guess I took the long road to ‘knowing thyself’. But I digress.

Just didn’t take to that one maybe environment gave me a bad association. On the plus side there was Taylor Swifts’ song piped in too, and that was ‘Teardrops on my guitar.’ I looked forward to that one.

This is obviously for kids back in the late 60’s to mid 70’s. Anyhow, I couldn’t endure the whole thing.
