Blue roses 'cause they don’t exist except in fantasy. Although they are playing with genetics atm. Totally loving the blue shades and a favorite colour.

Just one??? So many flowers… so many meanings… my appreciation changes daily.

I get lost in the infinite folds of the Dahlia and fold upon fold I ponder

I watch the serenity of the Lotus and with each water drop, I let go and try and drift as freely

I enjoy the humble crocus and smile when they shyly emerge and I see them as the first stirrings of Spring

 Thank you… It cheered me up as well.

I like the veggie gardens because they feed the body.
There is a definite utility and geometry to veggie gardens.

But I think flower gardens feed the mind.
They are more serene and free roving in shape… using water features and other mediums.
You can get away with more in a flower garden.

It’s cool the value we place on roses… they have their own language and meanings.

Hyacinth, like the Snowdrop, welcomes the coming spring, and smells awesome too…

I can’t load photos but I’ve always been fascinated and intrigued by Venus Fly Traps. A flower that eats meat!! I would get one for my house if I knew where to find them.

Last bloom in a bare dirt garden behind my building. The halo gleams like pearl in the sun -

Well - a little sideways - artichoke

I bought one once at the grocery store. I got a book + read. I’d have to catch bugs + feed it. Creeped me out.

I thought the whole thing about them is that they catch their own bugs.

Gardenias! They remind me of growing up in Florida. I have no idea what they symbolize, but they look simple and clean. Get up close-and the scent is intoxicating!!

If you have the right environment for them to live outside - They’re sort of tropical looking - maybe CA’s OK.
