I never learned the difference between the two DX’ed categories - I feel a merge would make it less confusing.
I voted for no euthanasia talk. It seems to get folks heated, and I’ve seen lots of folks post semi suicidal things that trigger those thoughts in me as well.
I know I can steer clear of those topics or mute them, but I’d rather not see anyone else triggered.

i ofton wonder why we didn’t have stages like level 1, level 2 level 3 of symptoms, and put on a scale for the read to chose if he or she would like to read. in the Dx room
Sz has phases, prodromal, active and residual. It is a bit much to self define as the first two but most of us are the third.
I think it this should fall under health and recovery. It is already way too complicated with too many categories.
Also I don’t think we should ban talking about euthanasia. We don’t ban talking about suicide in general, even though it can be triggering, because it’s an important topic when it comes to mental health. The solution to triggering topics is not an outright ban. We even allow talking about drugs, in a recovery context. You could just add a trigger warning. Like in other cases when suicide is mentioned.

had to ask but because of the younger group, shouldn’t sex ? be answered by you Dr or other care health centers?
We get a ton of sex related posts. It’s best to have a place to sort them and so people can just ignore the entire category if they choose.

Also, there are plenty of questions s people do not feel comfortable asking their doctor. Here people can be educated. And it’s not going to be allowed to be porny, so even younger people can read and learn.
Much better than learning bogus stuff from people on Reddit or FB.
