Thanks for asking, Gina! True, it’s difficult to pick favourites. Having said that, I am fond of Bach and Coldplay.
I chose streaming (Pandora), but I also listen to CDs.
I listen and watch my music on YouTube.
I also listen to the radio in my car.
I’ve been listening to music through mp3s since 1997. It’s difficult to find songs I like on mp3 nowadays so like most people I watch music videos on YouTube.
While I was a teen in the '90s, I think that I have bought about 100 CDs. Later, I converted all these CDs in MP3 files and then I sold my CDs. So now I’m still listening to my MP3 files and to the others I got since then.
Mostly streaming nowadays, first thru RDIO then Google Play Music. I also listen to dance bootlegs on Youtube and I do have an extensive MP3 collection as I DJ a bit here and there.
Vinyl? Blech. Used to mix on it and never going back.
I don’t listen much to music these days. I can’t concentrate while listening to it. But when I was listening to music, I used to use MP3s and ogg/vorbis.
I usually listen to it from my phone but I prefer vinyl. Vinyl is like the hobby of mine that never became a hobby because it’s too expensive lol. I have about 20 vinyls of indie bands but no record player. My cheap Crosley broke. I want the project debut but I can’t justify spending $500 for a setup when I’d listen to vinyl with coffee maybe only once a week.
