Have thousands of cds, tens of thousands of mp3s. Make purchases on Amazon to avoid the drm garbage Apple used to have, listen on ipod or phone. Our household has a Tidal subscription for stuff I don’t own.
CDs and vinyl sound much better than mp3s, but so inconvenient.
CD’s are my favorite
Most things are being done electronically because the big shots at the music companies don’t want people to own things in hard copies anymore!
Youtube
Some Radiohead songs aren’t available on Youtube anymore though! Have to go though Vimeo.
I used to run a Fiio x5 through to my amplifier which had flac and mp3 files on, but now I run spotify through the ps4 to the amplifier via the aux cable.
The problem with spotify is that it cheapens music as I play some new bands and forget their names and never play them again, whereas if I owned a hard copy I would value it more.
I use Pandora because you can create your own radio stations. I downloaded the free Pandora app to my iPhone, then synced the app to wireless headphones via Bluetooth technology.
I buy CDs which I rip losslessly using iTunes. The files I play on my computer through my home cinema. I control iTunes via my iPad. I love this setup.
There was a music service called Grooveshark and it was a bit of a grey area. They paid royalties, but a court found that they weren’t paying enough, and it got shut down.
I often listen to Google Music which is quite good. It’s free and you only have to listen to short ads every 20 minutes or so. I ripped most of my CDs to FLAC lossless format and listen to them through my home theater setup.
I use Spotify. I have several lists depending on what I want to listen to. I use blue tooth ear phones.
I use CDs in my car, Youtube, Spotify, mp3 player, and Pandora. I prefer headphones, but my car’s stereo is pretty good.
lol Courage the Cowardly Dog
When I wasn’t feeling well that show scared the crap out of me sometimes.
Some episodes aren’t so bad though.
yeah, it was a very unique cartoon, that’s for sure
I download music illegally.
:O
YouTube these days you can just plug and play on random with similar sounds. Helpful as I’m borrowing the libraries computer and internet which I play on head phones for new music I’ve never heard before.
