I think # 2 would give your characters more breathing room…less clutter.

I like the toon effect. I thought #2 would give your characters more room. The spotlight would be more on them, and less on the background.

I like #2 better also. The buildings and other background in # 1 seem too far off in the distance.

I do see that pic 1 has a unique shine. Im still trying to get windows to work so perhaps i can blend them
