taking just a moment
I stop and pray to
the one I believe in
and find strength in
and I am emboldened
to live another day
when all I feel like
doing is giving up,
finding peace and
solace in the midst
of a turbulent situation
that is far beyond
my control, knowing
there’s not much I
can do except keep the
faith and soldier on
