Written for my wife on our first christmas together, a month or two after my first major psychotic break and diagnosis of sza. Id be nowhere without her.
Would love to know what you guys think. Really my only poem that isnt about darkness and a tumultuous past. Was my first and only real venture into this type of writting to date.
She helped me thru a really tough time @PinCushion and she was the one to convince me to see a pdoc for the first time. It took alot of courage on her end not knowing how i would react to the proposition that i had a mental condition. Had 2 or 3 more major breaks after i wrote that but i was really broke that year and wanted a meaningful present for her, something that wasnt off the store shelves. Im deep like that!! Lol. Heres a pic of the framed up poem with a couple meaningful pics bookending it. Really proud of this one
Havent been able to match that present yet i think, so kind of shot myself in the foot for all Christmases to come. Except last year i asked her to marry me, now i really got nothing left for meaningful presents!! Hahaha. Heres hoping i come up with something for this year, only 4 months to go…
In a month or two at the latest @PinCushion. Going to self marry which we can do in Pennsylvania, so no hub-ub of the whole ordeal of a big wedding. We are just going to do our own thing. Its for us anyway we figured, just going to throw a party after so we dont miss out on presents!!
Just got my ring a week ago and i got hers custom made a while back. Headed to the courthouse for license this week or next most likely. Then its pretty much a done deal. Just got to do the deed.
