downpour,
the sound of the rain
falling upon the rooftop
is a soothing elixir
to my weary soul as
a calmness comes over
me and everything
outside is washed in a
baptism of renewal, my
frazzled nerves relaxing
as the rain comes
down, a sudden shower
out of nowhere, here
one minute and gone
the next
Beautiful simply put had a nice flow just like the rain there’s a word I can’t think of it I think it’s cascading
