“Aphex Twin”

in the boredom of the
early morning quiet
i sit and i listen
to Aphex Twin, electronic
melodies carrying my mind
beyond the physical constraints
of the room i sit in
and for a few minutes
i taste freedom, maybe
just a distraction from
the things that are
always there, the thoughts
and feelings that just
never quit

The rhyme schemes were awesome to me. And some of the words fit in real cool. It was perfectly succinct. No too few or too many words.

I was watching a YouTube video of an apex twin live set. The music and visuals were amazing.

Interesting fact I got a cigerrey lit by him once at a squarepusher gig.
