It went well. No complications. I was very nervous, but it was over pretty quickly. It did hurt a bit after the procedure, but they gave me some strong pain meds that made it more manageable. I’m still kinda groggy from the anesthesia.
I suppose the surgery was probably the easy part compared to the waiting. I can find out the results in a week over the phone, or in two weeks at my post-operative appointment. As hard as it might be, I think I will wait two weeks to get the results in person. I don’t want to get bad results over the phone. I think that if they’re really bad though, they will call me as soon as possible, in case there’s something we need to do right away.
I think I have about 2 days of discomfort ahead of me, and I should be back to normal on Monday.
