When there is written work to do, I have to decide whether or not I’m likely to make mistakes. If I am, I use a pencil so I can erase. If I am confident, I like a pen.

Either. I usually use pen these days but that is because I’m rarely using writing. I update calendars and keep notes so usually in pen…Otherwise I’m typing and I’ve recently started doing some writing and it’s all on the computer. Not sure I’m a help!

In school I used pen a lot. Pencil too, especially for drawings / graph plots.
Now I exclusively use ball-point pens. Apart from the odd todo list, the only time I write by hand now is when I journal.
