The refrigerator isn’t on. I’m keeping it closed so it stays as cool as possible.

We have no power either. It’s not fun.
There’s no estimates on power return from DTE. We have a generator, but it’s never been used. My husband never tried to see how it works and here we’ve had it for a decade. I am not really mechanically inclined, so I’d like him to show me how it works.
Of course, when we have long power outages, he is out of town.
He’s been gone a total of three months this year for work. He’s going to be gone another one to two months after this trip.
He’s home tomorrow. I’m seriously hoping to have power soon.
I am OK. I’m just annoyed. Thanks for letting me vent on your thread.

No, it didn’t. I didn’t sleep half the night. This is the fourth sleepless night since my husband‘s been gone. Why do bad things happen to good people? I’m only being dramatic.

I don’t have power either.
I need a shower but have an electric tankless water heater so no hot water. I refuse to take a cold shower.
I may have to shower at the gym. But there’s not enough privacy at my gym and I don’t like that. I’ll hold off and keep sponge bathing as long as I can

I understand.
The water was warm, so that helped me shower this morning. I had to go to work.
I’ve showered in cold water before just to be clean before work. It’s terrible.

Yes @jukebox . We usually lose it for about 5 days at a time. But last time it was only 2 days so I’m hopeful
