i got the promoter badge and now its missing, what gives?
The software was updated today. Maybe that badge is no longer supported ?

What is a promoter badge? I just checked my badges and I don’t have it, either, but maybe I never did.

I’m not a fan of the new update. Everything is slightly different, which is mildly inconvenient about twenty times a day. I’m sure once I’m used to it, it will be fine. I just hate learning new systems.

my badge is missing and i want answers, you cant just blame that on a random software update, its more than that,
We don’t have the power to delete badges. There’s literally no other explanation than the update.

The answer is that Discourse is – at times – a dodgy piece of kit and the moderators and even SzAdmin have no power over it. Sorry your badge is missing, but hopefully it’s not a key component of your self-identity?
thanks, i asked on discourse, idk why it happened, it probably sounds stupid but i like my badges and i felt good when i obtained that badge.

thanks, its not but i like all my little achievements on here and its not nice to have one snatched away like that.
i think my friend must have got a bit self conscious and left his account but my other friend has opened an account on here now so i got the badge back from him, obviously would like them to participate but it is so hard to get people to do that, the campaigner will be tough and the champion badge is going to be nigh on impossible lol

@Ninjastar i think i have the best badges on site apart from @SzAdmin who has a couple of belters but i have still more badges than him
