Our dog Max is laid back and a big dog…Missy our new pup, is a year old and she was raised in a backyard kennel when we took her on and now she’s the most loving of our two dogs, but around stray dogs in the back yard she is vicious…I have to pick her up and carry her into the house for fear she will jump the fence she jumps so high…anyways…that’s the only flaw we don’t like and am trying to socialize her with ppl and other animals.

I fell head over heels for my sisters dog who I offered hospice to… was there through the end.
My sister had three very young kids so we flew her(Coco) home to the east coast.
I remember hoping so hard that the poem “The rainbow bridge” would be real.
You ever go through this @jukebox?

@Happy2Help I firmly believe in the “rainbow bridge”…I imagine Rooroo that just passed as flying around in doggie Heaven wearing goggles…cheers me up.
@Twialine yes she is very protective…she is something like a foot tall to the top of her head, she is all white except for her brown ear on the left, and a spotted brown and white left ear. she is some kind of mixed breed…I don’t know.

oh she is, and sooo loving …she couldn’t believe how good her life would get when we got her…she’s come a long way, I call my wife “the dog whisperer”…she trained her to sit and not to jump up on ppl. she eats pickles, bananas and oranges…haha…not just that, she eats dog food too.

@jukebox I wanna know how she got her not to jump on people my mom never got Oscar to stop but Oscar loves everyone and is a jack Russell
she just is firm and says down missy, down missy…and missy doesn’t jump anymore…sometimes she gets excited and forgets but all you got to teach her is the command “down”.
Oh pardon me that’s true I knew of RooRoo since it was recent and I was here. Sometimes I wish I could “quantum leap” into one of our earler ancestors who fed the wolf. One wolf showed a modicum of less fear and subsequently got fed, rewarded. I guess it occurred in differing places at differing times.
I really like that story but won’t insult your intelligence I’m sure it’s crossed your desk.
They are so loving.
