I feel very distant and not connected does anyone else feel this and if so how do you make it manageable?
I have this feeling all the time. All the time.
I feel spaced out, not with anyone around me- I feel like I’m just floating in the air.
I kind of try to find myself more engaged with something that I like, such as writing something, playing with my dogs, etc. I’m a very tactile person, so I usually opt for fidget toys that I can play around with to ground me. I sometimes use my DBT skills for it as well.
I hope you are doing okay. I’m thinking of you. I know it’s incredibly hard for you right now, but I know that you can do it!
I’m only connected to my wife. I have no desire real desire to meet people after an experience of making a good friend a couple years ago from Sweden and she had to go back. Maybe I was healthier then
