I have been active with art lately. I had my two solo art exhibitions during the summer/autumn and they were good. sold some paintings and got a few new followers on social media.
this is my most recent painting, called “Liar, liar”.
I like the concept of this painting, and I have been thinking about making a big version of it with acrylic paints on canvas… it’s a A4 size watercolour portrait.
my artistic creative process has been improving, I have gotten to a good place with creativity lately - it is easy for me to think about subjects to paint and draw. like this painting, I just got an idea in my head about this composition. the thought of it came to my head and I just wanted to paint it. but I will probably make a new version of it with acrylics.
I have also been busy with printmaking, it’s a new hobby of mine. I want to do more etching. I could post my printmaking stuff here as well.
I opened up this new topic for my art as the older ones are… well, old, and I don’t know what is the forum’s policy about reviving old topics. I hope it is ok for me to start a new topic.

so this is an old concept but new painting.
I found this old sketch of mine and thought the idea was good, but it looked like crap. I wanted to create it again. I censored it a bit to be more safe for work
I’m reviving this old thread because it is not that old but I feel making a new post every time I upload art is silly, so that’s why I’m using this thread to post out art.
I wanted to try a little different style this time, something a bit “softer” and let the sketch show beneath the watercolour. Fish are eating her up. I love to paint underwater stuff.
