New plan...giving away my prints instead of selling them

I am going to distribute my print as free for a year just to get a lot of them out there…I am spending 20 dollars a month and that’s 20 prints…at least it will be enjoyed by people…I want to make my mark with this print of “vinyl invasion”.

WHY?

Just have a good scan done and upload it to a royalty-free art service. Those who want the art can use it at no cost to you.

You’re constantly posting about the frustrations of being poor, limited food choices, vehicle expenses, etc. Can you really afford this?

I have more money than I used to…has to do with not having to buy insulin and syringes anymore for Rooroo that passed a couple weeks ago…I just want to be remembered by this print and it means so much to me that I am going to just share it for free.

Sometimes you have to do that to get started in creative work. A lot of prominent writers got tons of rejection slips before they were published. F. Scott Fitzgerald got 128 rejection slips before he got published. It didn’t save him though. He was an alcoholic, and he died as a broken, miserable man.
