Neurological soft signs predict outcomes in schizophrenia

Neurological soft signs (NSS) are minor motor and sensory changes that accompany the typical psychopathological symptoms and neuropsychological deficits that manifest in the early stages of schizophrenia. A new study provides evidence that NSS in early schizophrenia predict the long-term clinical outcomes of this condition.

It’s a fascinating area of research . I’ve never been made aware of having such NSS. A minor physical anomaly was mentioned during my 1st psych appointment here in Wiltshire- low set ears…

I had dp/dr mostly. My hearing is bad. My listening and comprehension and vocabulary has declined.

This may or may not be anything. When asked to do so I have difficulty relaxing an arm or leg.
