He’s in the air force and was due to come home for Thanksgiving this year but his class in the states got cancelled so he’s not coming home…my brother is in Antartica and will be home then too, at least he’s coming home…still, I miss my nephew something awful…we are very close.

I once considered doing a cruise to Antarctica.

The military is full of hardships like that. This ex-navy seal said on the internet that of the last 23 Christmases, he had only been home for five. A lot of our guys in the military had to do three or four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. You can find yourself stuck out in the middle of nowhere when you’re in the military. I can see how that would suck.
