My birthday is Saturday, October 18. I’m thinking of going to the NAMI State Convention, which is on that day about a two or three hour drive from here. Judging from their titles, the work shops don’t especially appeal to me, but maybe I’d like the keynote speaker.
Russell Pierce speaking on “Weaving Together the Threads of Recovery”. His photo shows a black man, and his title is Department of Mental Health, Director, Office of Recovery & Empowerment. I don’t know him from Adam. Maybe he’s a good speaker?
