I am new here, so I have not had the privilege to get to know anybody to well yet, but I just wanted to say that you all inspire me. To have people who who have first hand knowledge of some of the things I have to deal with and are supportive and compassionate is priceless. You are all great in your own ways, and I am happy to be here because of all of you. I hope I will get to know some of you better in the future

I first came across this forum about a year ago when I was looking for information on sz (a friend has sz) and I have been visiting it ever since. It has been a very helpful resource. I am so impressed with the compassion, the candor, the insight, the intelligence, the humor, and the creativity of the folks posting on this forum. Thank you all for being so supportive of each other.

I really needed a pick-me-up today. My dad’s friend who is also my friend, and my friend’s step dad has Pancreatic cancer. He had gone to bed when we got there. His wife said she is trying to get him to eat.
Pancreatic cancer is really bad. I don’t want to be a downer in a positive thread. I am sorry everyone.
