My SSDI (Also SSI) money is in my bank this morning

Even though it’s not supposed to be deposited until the third. I only get SSDI, but a person I know on SSI got his money already on Friday.

I haven’t received my disability this month. Normally I should have gotten it last Wednesday. I guess something went wrong. I hope it’s not complicated to straighten out. I’ve emailed them.

I got my SSDI on Thursday.

I get mine the second Wednesday of the month but my bank gives it to me the Tuesday before. So I have to wait until the 11th.

I don’t recommend revealing that info, because we’re a vulenerable group of people and scammers like to target folks like us.

I do understand the nice blessing of having it early a few days tho. Hasn’t happened in a while or where I’ve attempted it.

I know in a way thats true but something bugs me about it, and I feel that if you don’t try to push people to be secretive about this stuff when you feel you might be able to reach some of them that are rational they might divulge this stuff when they’re less rational and more prone to being a target.

Well, surprise, surprise. I went to the store to get a few things because my money is supposed to be available, and my debit card wouldn’t work at the cash register. I tried getting cash out of the ATM, but it didn’t work either. So I used my credit card in the ATM and it worked fine, so it’s not the store’s fault. The cashier had rung me out and was waiting tapping her foot.

I just figured out what was wrong. I was using the debit card on my old checking account that’s closed now. I just discovered this when I called the number on the back of the card to see what the problem is.

My brain is gone today.

I got mine at midnight and started sending out my bills and writing the rent check and completing purchases online. I had that money half spent by 12:30.
