With him watching I cooked spaghetti bolognese with pasta. 500g of 20% fat beef mince meat and a jar of bolognese sauce with mushrooms and onion and a yellow pepper. It’s an easy meal and one can’t really go wrong with it, He said he really enjoyed it and it was his first home cooked British meal since arriving in the UK. That made me feel good. He said he’s going to cook me a Nigerian meal on the 13th Feb, we are visiting the afro Caribbean and African food shop in town and buying the ingredients.

I used to have a Nigerian neighbor and sometimes I’d watch her kids. She would thank me by cooking me the food of her country. It was beyond delicious. I’m so glad you could cook for him. Well done!
