My new boyfriend told me he lost his husband to lung cancer

About five years ago. I just told him last night I have a module in my right lung. Hopefully I’ll be all right and not die of cancer too on him. Talk about coincidence and it being a small world.

He’s giving me motivation not to give up. I’m in the process of getting a second opinion.

I hope everything will be OK with your lungs. :crossed_fingers: Try not to catastrophize. I hope you’ll be fine.

Thanks @Jeffmcguire. I smoked for 35 years since I was 17 and quit eleven years ago.

I’m getting a second opinion on my lungs to see if I should have surgery to biopsy the nodule. That should happen soon now.

Thanks @LilyoftheValley. I’m supposed to have another CT scan in August. They just did one in February.

Well I just heard from my friend, and he’s back safe from patrol. Five weeks to go until he retires. He’s out the first week of May.

I can’t talk to him on the phone because he’s overseas, but we chat on Facebook Messenger when he’s on the base.

I think the current plan is for him to relocate here when he gets back. I’m thinking it’s best he have his own place for a while, before we move in together. My building is for seniors only, and he’s not 62 yet.

How old is he @anon54988740?
