My phone’s camera is being a jerk. It really looks closer to this (on Amazon.ca):

Here’s my scarf so far (It’s 54 inches long). I’m aiming for 76 or 78 inches in total. I’m hoping to get it done by the middle of January (about one week from now). I cast on a row of 30 stitches when I started, but I think that made it a bit too wide…Oops…it would have worked a bit thinner. The colour turned out more accurate in this photo. My phone camera is strange sometimes!

Thanks! It’s too bad I don’t have it done by now. There’s a cold snap rolling in this week, and I could have used a warm scarf.

@DragonStorm @shellys12 Thanks. I’m lucky my hands work well (just a bit of stiffness if I do too much writing beforehand). SZ doesn’t effect my motor skills for some reason. My brain is crazy about the voices. Loves to dish them out all day, every day.

@anon70814080 it looks amazing! Your stitches are so neat and even. Good tension.

I have started a blanket for my mom. It is crocheted and it is the basketweave stitch.

Thanks. I’m a continental-style knitter, so I use the left hand to wrap the yarn around the needle. Makes my stitches a bit tighter than the right-handed knitter. I’m not actually left-handed, but I learned that way so I there would be less wear and tear on my right hand.

Very pretty shade of purple. Will you be doing it all in purple?

That looks like it’ll be nice and snuggly. I haven’t knitted since before May last year as I was coming off one ap, and I haven’t got round to doing more yet. I knit doll clothes for my granddaughters. I use YouTube videos to help learn the stitches. Keep at it as it a rewarding hobby.

YouTube has been a big help to me. I learned knitting and crochet on YouTube.
