I struggle with humility. I think it is a virtue not in some phony popular morality way but I think humility helps you see the world more clearly. I don’t mean false humility but a genuine insight into your limitations…it’s more about perspective from how I see it. But like you said putting people above yourself by default isn’t good. That’s not only a recipe for being taken advantage of but counters the prime directive of an organism. I think we are also a collective but it’s your life and you come first …that my opinion.
